Executive Director – Janeth Rodriguez, M.A.

CAPSES Executive Director (ED) participates in and supports all Board and Board Committee meetings and keeps the Board informed of CAPSES activities, progress and problems. The Executive Director also represents CAPSES in a positive and knowledgeable professional manner, actively promoting CAPSES and its public policies to the public, and effectively networking with other institutions and agencies to enhance the mission of the association. In addition the Executive Director provides information to the public and technical assistance to members. Represents association in negotiations with representatives of government, business, labor and other organizations, and appears before legislative bodies to present association’s viewpoints and encourages acceptance of goals and objectives. Directs and coordinates association functions (convention, exhibits, local or regional workshops). Finally, the ED ensures that all organization activities and operations are carried out in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and laws governing business operations.
