Event Details

The 2015-16 budget proposal from the Governor will be of critical importance to schools. California’s revenues continue to recover with the economy and the temporary tax receipts from Prop 30 (passed in 2012). The budget is likely to set the stage for conversations around funding for:

- Continued implementation of LCFF

- Special Education

- School Facilities

- Adult Education

- Career Technical Education

We also expect the Governor to address the continued fallout from last year’s budget that included language potentially limiting the ability of school districts to maintain prudent budget reserves.

These workshops are presented by Capitol Advisors Group, ACSA, CSBA, and SSDA. The workshop and materials are provided at no-cost to attendees.
