Learn About the U.S. Department of Labor's Modification of Weekly Salaries and the Impact on Private Schools

The Department of Labor ("DOL) has just released the revisions and updates to the regulations governing the exemption of executive, administrative and professional ("EAP") employees from the minimum wage and overtime pay protections of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).  The modification of the regulations is a result of a 2014 directive by President Obama to the DOL.  The new rules go into effect on December 1, 2016.
