California Gov. Jerry Brown has approved the California Vaccination Bill SB 277 (Pan & Allen).  The bill's provisions apply to both public and private schools and day cares.  Beginning July 2, 2016, students must be vaccinated against measles, whooping cough and other diseases. CAPSES members will receive implementation guidelines once they become available.  In the meantime, the San Jose Mercury New provided a list of the most common questions and answers surrounding the controversal law.
